Another thing that’s not a coincidence is that the Hispanic market is
rising more than ever – with a buying power close to $1.5 trillion so far.
Nielsen (not Simon) says,
“Latinos are no longer just a sub-segment of the economy,
but a prominent player in all aspects of American life.”
There’s a whole new world of opportunities when you direct
your marketing towards Hispanic consumers.
But it doesn’t just mean translating in Spanish. I mean we all
have Google Translate. But even when we use it, many times it
doesn’t come out right! It’s the same idea.
We want to be reflected in services or products we’re thinking
of investing. Ads need to be tailored to your buyer persona’s
story; finding a way to connect your service/ product with their
cultural story is the best way to “translate”.
